I. Overview
The QYC series hydrogen purification unit uses electrolytic hydrogen as its feedstock. The hydrogen enters the gas–water separator of the purification unit, where free ions are removed before flowing into the deoxygenator. Under the catalytic action of palladium–platinum catalysts, the oxygen impurities in the feed hydrogen react with hydrogen to form water vapor. After the residual oxygen is removed, the hydrogen passes through a hydrogen cooler and a hydrogen condenser (using cooling water), followed by an automatic gas–water separator to remove any remaining free condensate. It then enters molecular sieve adsorption dryer (I) for moisture removal, and after being regulated in pressure via a pressure control valve and filtered to remove dust using a high‑efficiency filter, pure hydrogen product is obtained.
Note: Based on actual operating conditions, the heating temperature, regeneration purge time, and valve switching time can be adjusted as appropriate. Valve switching time can also be determined according to the dew point value. Additionally, an online analyzer (moisture meter or trace oxygen analyzer) can be added at the unit outlet to automatically monitor the purity of the product hydrogen according to customer requirements. Once the hydrogen quality fails to meet specifications, an alarm will be triggered, and the vent valve will be activated to release the不合格 hydrogen. After the issue is resolved and the hydrogen meets the required standards, production will automatically resume, yielding high‑quality, pure hydrogen products.
2. Technical Parameters:
1. Processing Gas Capacity: 1–3000 Nm³/h (non-standard equipment can be custom‑ordered according to user requirements)
2. Feed Gas Requirements: Hydrogen produced via water electrolysis (if using a different hydrogen source, please specify when placing your order, as the process will vary).
3. Working Pressure: 0.2–6 MPa (can be customized according to user requirements)
4. (Hydrogen Purification Unit) Purification Efficiency:
H2≥99.9999%
Water vapor (H2O) ≤ -80°C
Oxygen content (O2) ≤ 1 ppm
Dust: After hydrogen is dried, a filter with a mesh size of ≤1 μm must be installed.
3. Application Areas:
High‑purity hydrogen is widely used in industries such as petrochemicals, the electronics industry, electronic semiconductors, metallurgy, machinery, food processing, float glass production, high‑purity materials, and optoelectronic materials, as well as in scientific research. It also serves as a protective gas for heat treatment in manufacturing processes and finds extensive applications in areas like fine organic synthesis and aerospace. For example, this equipment has already been successfully deployed in the production of precision alloys for heat treatment, aerospace components, semiconductor silicon materials, silicon epitaxy, and compound semiconductors, with excellent results across the board.
Note: For other types of raw materials, the process should be designed based on actual conditions for hydrogen gas.
